First Second
Imprint
First Second publishes graphic novels for children, adults, and everyone in between. Our graphic novels continually break new ground for the comics medium: Gene Luen Yang’s American Born Chinese was both the first graphic novel to win the American Library Association’s Michael L. Printz Award and the first graphic novel to be a National Book Award finalist. First Second is committed to the highest quality in every aspect of book-making—literary, artistic, and production.
